the overall result from 3dmark serie do not vaie a lot with cpu used it is almot negligable .note that 3d 2005 and 3d 2006 benchamrk are video card based.but we are intersed in the core duo cpu performance . it clear that the conroe duo cpu top out all other cpu ecpecially in cpu test it is about 30% faster according to 3dmark test even the top end amd serie could not keep with it

all those test has been done in 1024/786 resolution to test the cpu performance.amd 64 architicture has been alwais more optimized for game. it sweem like intel has lloked to be the leader in all case .from history amd has alwais done more work per cycle the only think that was alwais holding amd cpu back the memory performance. with the realise of the A64 core this probleme was solved and even more the memory controler becaume a part of the cpu it is fully integred with it .now amd has realsed the am2 and added the ddr2 support the amd movement is somehow dispointing for all amd user the performance improvment was as small as 5% and is some case wrose than the current 939 cpus . here in gaming benchamrk the conroe duo cpu prove his efficasity it bellow at the amd2 fx 62 in all gaming test ith high average fps. the performance of the cpu could be observed especially in the doom3 and fear test there is a use of complex shader the faster the cpu the more quicker the faster will go the game . the conroe duo cpu is about 20% faster than the 2.8 ghz amd

only yesterday we had the chance to overclock the conroe under luiquide nitrogen we had looked for 4.5 ghz ++.this could be achevable the new B0 core: on a motherboard with good opportunities to increase the vore voltage. the processor with a high multiplier (10x) under influence of liquid nitrogen has not wanted to go over 4.6 GHz. What could be the bottleneck? Most likely, the motherboard which cannot simply go over 460 MHz. How to improve the overclock result?just with finding motherboard with higher overclocking potential , or to use a processor with a unlocked multiplier. their is only one conroe cpu capable of those adjustment this one is the Core 2 Extreme X6800 (2.93 GHz).
@ this speed we have looked for 11 s but conroe was capable off more .10s is awesome result
Pay attention, that during this experiment the multiplier of the conroe processor has been lifted up to 12x though on nominal frequency of 2.93 GHz . It once again proves, that Core 2 Extreme X6800 will have a free multiplier.
