1. INTRODUCTION
Considering that usually the mothers of manufacturers of council are the first to be felt sorry for about the lack of time left by the manufacturers about the chipsets, and Intel in particular, between the specimens of the prproduction and the official date of launching, P35 and G33 derogate of the rule. Announced for a long time, these Bearlake were indeed already available in certain stores during several weeks, while Intel considered a launching only for Computex (at the beginning of June). The manufacturer thus decided to create a date close to embargo with regard to the information on the chipsets, today, and which is thus rather artificial. One is enough far from the rather usual situation where only Intel and Asus are able to provide councils to the press and the stores the day of launching.

Paradoxically, the arrival of these chipsets is far from pressing in so far as we will see it, the list of the innovations that they present relatively is limited and that they bring back mainly to new duet FSB of the core 2 1333 megahertz, who will arrive for their part only on July 22, to see processors 45 nanometer (Penryn, i.e. end of the year for the first versions). Forecast of the successors with the P965/945G.
A corner of the veil only
Only part of the chipsets Bearlake are launched and available today: P35 and G33. The complete range does not contain indeed less than 7 chipsets, of which in particular X38 and G35 which should prove to be most interesting, but what are available only to the third quarters (probably on July 22, like new processors).

The great innovation presented by these chipsets, namely the support of the DDR3, is limited however to G33, P35 and X38, while the important limitations are to be remarkable side of G31, tiddlywinks of the entry of the range limited to antiquity ICH7 (but support at least of a port ide!). G35 (official successor of G965) will be also limited to the ICH8 what is rather illogical in so far as these tiddlywinks seem to be the only one to support a new graphic circuit DirectX10, X3500, and are thus plac above G33. It is advisable to note that X38 will have exclusiveness not only in the DDR3 1333 megahertz, but also in support 2 of the express train 2.0 16X of ports NCV. A standard which as well as allows the doubling of the bandwidths the power transmitted to the graphic ports (150 W against 75 W currently).
